Toll Brothers seeks an Encompass Administrator and Reporting Developer to provide ongoing support for the Loan Origination System used by Toll Brothers Mortgage , a fully-owned subsidiary.

What is the opportunity?

  • The Encompass Administrator and Reporting Developer acts as an internal consultant with the business for 1) day to day application support and 2) the managing of enhancement initiatives. This position is key to understanding current state issues, documenting solution requirements, and performing the required configurations in Ellie Mae Encompass. This role is also responsible for all reporting development and maintenance for Toll Brothers Mortgage, including architecture, dashboards, and automated distributed reports.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Act as the system administrator/super user responsible for configuring and executing application changes in Ellie Mae Encompass
  • Remain abreast of current application releases, functionality, and other components and assist with various application related management tasks
  • Assist with coordinating/implementing changes, software installations, and upgrades with other groups within IT department and appropriate management personnel
  • Provide technical support, software coaching, and employee assistance for all proprietary applications and 3rd party software within the company’s application portfolio. Act as liaison with training department for training the trainer, as well as assisting in generation of training documentation.
  • Lead technology projects of small to medium scope
  • Organize and elicit requirement gathering sessions with business owners
  • Design and build solutions that meet business requirements
  • Develop application test plans and perform quality assurance testing. Manage UAT for business signoff.
  • Participate in team meetings and perform normal administrative duties such as status reporting. Assist leadership and management with various administrative tasks
  • All other duties as assigned

Do you have these ?

  • Essential:
    • Ellie Mae Encompass Certified Admin
    • 5+ years’ experience as Encompass Administrator, including documents, reporting, form builder, security, and troubleshooting DU/LP and Mavent issues
    • 5+ years with extreme proficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and transform data from multiple systems
    • 5+ years report development using Crystal Reports, SSIS, Business Objects, and Power BI, including data warehouse maintenance
    • Solid understanding of advanced writing business rules and complex form code using VB.NET
    • 7+ years’ experience with Mortgage Banking Operations, Secondary, or Production
    • Ability to work hybrid from home and at our Corporate office located in Fort Washington PA
  • Preferred:
    • Bachler’s degree
    • Experience with Optimal Blue, Simple Nexus / nCino, SnapDocs, OCR, RPA, and AI
    • Experience using Developer Connect and leveraging APIs for automation
    • Experience with Fivetran, Coalesce, and Snowflake
    • Encompass web form customization using Javascript, .Net, and C#
    • Certified Project Management or Business Analyst designations
