Job Description

As the Revenue Cycle Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing all aspects of the revenue cycle process. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate with both corporate and facility management to drive improvements in reimbursement, cash flow, and overall financial performance. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support across all areas of the revenue cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with corporate and facility management to identify challenges and opportunities, developing strategies to enhance reimbursement and cash flow operations.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures that improve revenue cycle operations and outcomes.
  • Ensure the integrity of the revenue cycle by directing and monitoring key internal controls and procedures.
  • Support the development of processes and tools for accurate and timely processing of unbilled receivables and charge capture.
  • Conduct audits related to the revenue cycle, including reconciliation of revenues and evaluation of vendor performance.
  • Work closely with billing staff to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment of claims.
  • Manage the filing and resolution of claims with individual carriers or agencies.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor assigned personnel, including performance evaluations and recommendations for merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Perform additional tasks related to the revenue cycle as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in billing or business office operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
  • Experience with revenue cycle audits and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
