SAP FICO Consultant (Financial Management Process)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the rollout of SAP S/4HANA financial management processes for our U.S. operations. This role will be responsible for implementing and configuring core FICO submodules, ensuring compliance with U.S. localization requirements, and collaborating with global and local teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP FICO modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Fixed Assets (AM)
  • Special Ledger (SL)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. fiscal, tax, and localization requirements .
• Manage financial processes such as:
  • Month-end and year-end closings
  • Payment processing and settlements
  • VAT and tax management
  • Fixed asset acquisition, depreciation, and disposal
  • Internal order planning, budgeting, and accounting
  • Profitability and management reporting at various organizational levels
• Collaborate with our core team during all SAP implementation phases:
  • Blueprint (Explore)
  • Realization
  • Final Preparation
  • Go-Live and Support
• Work with stakeholders to map U.S. chart of accounts to global standards.
• Deliver project documentation including Business Process Design (BPD) and Blueprint Reports .
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer, and ensure bilingual (English & Spanish) reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience needed.
• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in international rollout or localization projects.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax, and fiscal requirements .
• Hands-on expertise with GL, AR, AP, Asset Management, and Special Ledger modules.
• Experience with month-end/year-end closing processes and cost/profitability analysis .
• Ability to collaborate with global teams and communicate effectively in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Strong documentation and blueprinting skills.
• Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations preferred.

Deliverables

• Completed SAP Business Process Design (BPD) documentation.
• SAP Blueprint Report for financial processes.
• Configured and tested SAP FICO modules meeting U.S. localization requirements.
• End-user training and post go-live support.
